DHIKALA SAFARI ZONE CORBETT- UTTARAKHAND

Dhikala: This is the largest and most varied zones in Corbett, offering the best opportunities for an overnight stay. Located in the periphery of the Patil Dunn Valley, Dhikla area is the largest area of the Corbett National Park and has a large variety of flora and fauna. Canter Safari is an open bus safari with 16 seats and a total of 2 buses are allowed in one shift. You already have to book your seat for Canter Safari and you will have to go to the entrance of the Dhikala area to catch Canter Safari. Seeing the Kanda Ridge in Backdrop, the panoramic view of the vast valley is really a great sight. Tiger is considered to be the best field for sight, it is the most preferred option for wildlife lovers by wildlife lovers. Bijrani: This forest range has a wide network of jungle roads, making Bijrani an excellent tiger sighting territory. This area is the most popular area after Dhikla area and day safari is the most visited zone by tourists. Enriched with a fascinating landscape, this area is known for its calm and tranquil atmosphere within the jungle. Day Safari is organized in two changes and only one safari jeep is allowed to enter a shift. A Safari Jeep can take up to 6 adults and 2 children except for the driver and guide/naturalist. A guide with Jeep is mandatory for entry. The topography of the Bijrani zone is also attractive as the sloping area, with large grasslands, thick forested forests and various water currents.

JHIRNA SAFARI ZONE CORBETT- UTTARAKHAND

Jhirna: A densely wooded and grassland habitat, it makes for excellent bird viewing. Located on the southern edge of the Corbett National Park, this area was included in the Tiger reservoir area very later in 1994 and has received great popularity among wildlife lovers. Two areas of day safari are allowed in this area with 30 jeeps in one area. You can book Jeep Safari online with a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children in a jeep. According to the rule, a naturalist/guide is mandatory with each jeep. With majestic tigers, wild bears are the main attractions of this area. Other animals such as wild elephants, various species of sambhar and deer are found in this region with large number of bird species.

HOW TO REACH CORBETT- UTTARAKHAND

Corbett By Air : The closest domestic airport is Pantnagar Airport, which is 80 km away. New Delhi is the nearest International airport which is 260 km away. 

Corbett By Rail : Ramnagar (15 km), which is the nearest railway station, is well connected to all major Indian cities. 

Corbett By Road : Corbett is only 15 Kms from Ramnagar town. The surface drive from Delhi to Corbett takes approximate five and half hours. The designated approach routes are: Delhi-Gajrola-Moradabad-Kashipur-Ramnagar: (240 km). Corbett is well linked with the major cities of Uttarakhand like Nainital, Ramnagar, Haridwar, Dehradun amd Ranikheet.

Corbett By Bus : Being a popular tourist destination, Corbett is well-linked with a network of bus services, which includes private tour operators as well as state transport corporations. The nearest bus stand for the park is Dhumakot which is 34 km away from Corbett.
