MEANING OF GANGES AARTI

Ganga Aarti means prayer for river Ganges. Prayers are devoted to the gods. The Ganges River is not just a river in India, it is a divine mother. River Ganges gives life in the form of water. When you take a dip in your holy water, the same water also removes the sins. Ganga river also liberates souls. This is not just a river but the entire culture. Historically, millions of people live on the banks of river Ganges. His water for agriculture is still valuable to India. River Ganges is considered to be God who was originally living in heaven. Sant Bhagirath gave a long attention to paying tribute to his ancestors (decrease in ash due to the curse of Rishi Kapil) He received blessings from the Ganga by the Gods. Lord Shiva kept it to reduce its powerful flow. When Ganga flashed on the migration of the ancestors of Bhagirath, they got salvation (liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth). Even after the same tradition, Hindus offer their living relatives (after sharing the body) in Ganga river and expect salvation for them. In the name of Sant Bhagirath river, Ganga is known as Bhagirathi on the source and when the river meets the Alaknanda in Devprayag, then the name Ganga gets. Since hundreds of years are being considered as a holy river on river Ganges and it has become a part of their life, where they have come to receive salvation for their relatives and to overcome their sins. Thanks to the river Ganges thanks to the Ganges River.
